President Trump said on his social media platform that anyone who uses the term “Artificial Intelligence,” as opposed to “Super Intelligence,” would be considered an “enemy.”
On September 29, 2026, President Donald Trump signed an executive order officially renaming “Artificial Intelligence” (AI) to “Super Intelligence” (SI) across all U.S. federal departments and agencies.
The directive requires federal agencies to replace “AI” with “SI” in all public communications, non-statutory documents, and official correspondence within 60 days of the order.
Currently, the White House Website has updated its terminology from “AI” to “SI,” replacing the previous “AI Action Plan” with the new branding.
Also, the Trump administration launched a new federal task force (“Super Intelligence Force (SGI)”) led by Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton and FTC Chairman Andrew Ferguson to coordinate federal strategy and tech industry engagement.
Major tech leaders—including representatives from Google, Anthropic, Meta, XAI, Nvidia, and OpenAI—signed the voluntary White House Accord on Super Intelligence, committing to internal controls, independent external audits, and board-level oversight.
Elon Musk announced plans to rebrand his company SpaceXAI to SpaceXSI.
